Ingredients
Shiitake is an edible mushroom native to East Asia that grows naturally on decaying hardwood trees. However, it has also long been used in Chinese medicine where the mushrooms are prized for their health properties, which include supporting longevity. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Shiitake is helpful for tonifying the ‘Qi‘ energy and the blood. In Japan various extracts from Shiitake mushroom have been patented for use in treatments for cancer, immune system dysfunction and cholesterol control. Rich in B vitamins, amino acids and key active nutrients, take advantage of Shiitake’s excellent nutritional profile to boost your wellbeing.
Our mushrooms are cultivated on select organic farms and grown on organic brown rice for two months to obtain a higher yield of active compounds. These nature-identical conditions give our mushrooms the more robust nutrient profile of wildcrafted mushrooms. Then we harvest the full spectrum biomass and young fruiting bodies, with additional hot water-extracted mature fruiting body. This process ensures a superior level of beta glucans and other key nutrients. Finally, all our products are third-party tested to ensure purity of the mushroom strain.
